White seems to be this year's hottest colour with celebrities from Rihanna to Uma to Elle dazzling their way down red carpets in pristine frocks.
The latest lady to embrace the power of the pale palette is Freida Pinto who went for a pinafore style dress as she promoted her film Rise of the Planet of the Apes on the Today Show.
Most of the white dresses we've seen recently have come bundled with neutral accessories - metallic strappy sandals, cream clutch bags and more nude heels than you can shake a stick at - so it was great to see Freida breathing a bit of life into the trend with some colour pop blue peep-toe heels and a blue quilted shoulder bag (not pictured).
