Pat Harris, astrologist, has revealed that dressing according to your horoscopes rather than other style rules might be the way forward.
In an article for the Daily Mail, Harris lists out the fashion recommendations associated with each star sign so, whether your an astrology enthusiast or a vocal sceptic, take a look and see what looks Harris predicts should be dominating your wardrobe:
In the interests of very scientific research we looked at today's MyDaily team style choices and compared them with the advice.
Our two resident Taureans are sitting at opposite ends of the style spectrum today - one in brights and the other in floaty pastels - so that offers a one-in-two hit rate. Interestingly, yesterday the floaty one was wearing nautical stripes and the bright one was in a floaty pastel skirt.
Our Scorpio is in a dark blue shirt, black skirt and red lipstick so top marks for colours but a disappointing lack of silk, velvet and other boudoir-friendly fabrics.
The Capricorn is having a navy blue day with accents of brown and gold. The subtle, dignified elegance which characterises the sign is apparently 'a work in progress'.
So that's slightly more hits than misses, although in the interests of full disclosure every one of us owns an awful lot of clothes that fly in the face of Harris' advice and still look lovely. We also refuse to believe in a world where three quarters of the population are experiencing a significant lack of greens, yellows and oranges on their hangers!
