Hollywood actress Jesccia Alba has announced she does not want her children to follow in her footsteps and become famous.
Jessica - who is expecting her second baby any day and is also mum to Honor, three - says she doesn't want her kids to chase a career in acting, especially not before they have finished their education.
The mum-to-be, who famously started her career aged just 13 in the flick, Camp Nowhere, said:
'I was a child actor and it worked for me, given the circumstances I was in, but I'm lucky enough to give my daughter and my second baby a completely different life and an education that I never had the opportunity to have.
'When they're done with college, if they want to get into the arts, that's fine. I think you will be a better artist the more life experience you have, but I wouldn't encourage them to work in this type of environment as children.'
Is Jess right to be hard on the career choices of her children, given she has experience of starting out so young?
