Mum Looted An Argos Store Carrying TODDLER

Shocking images have emerged of a young woman taking a TODDLER looting during the London riots.

Whilst most parents would be making sure their children were safe from harm as thugs rampaged the streets, the pictures show a woman with a young child on her hip taking goods from an Argos store.

The woman, assumed to be the mother of the baby, can be seen on the CCTV tapes casually walking out of the back door of the store with her little boy in her arms - along with a bag and a box of stolen goods.

Despite the presence of CCTV, she made no attempt to hide her face as she walked nonchalantly out of the East Ham shop,

Newham Council, who released the footage, have passed it on to the police. It was taken on August 8th at the height of the London riots.

Newham Mayor Sir Robin Wales said: "Many of the criminals involved in the disturbances assumed there would be no consequences to their actions.

"They arrogantly thought they could do what they wanted, steal and smash what they chose to. In Newham we will not tolerate behaviour that endangers residents, impacts on businesses and causes disruption."

We reported earlier this week how an ELEVEN year old girl had appeared in court over her part in the Nottingham riots.
