New mum Mel B has said she finally feels like she has got motherhood 'right' by having a baby with 'excited' husband Stephen Belafonte.
Speaking to Hello! magazine, Mel says having baby Madison - who was born on September 2 - has given her the chance to be a perfect mummy.
Melanie has two other children, Phoenix Chi, now 12, with ex-husband Jimmy Gulzar and four-year-old Angel with Eddie Murphy, and admits life was not easy in either relationship or pregnancy, saying: "I had a rocky marriage with Phoenix's dad. The relationship with Angel's dad was over halfway through the pregnancy, and I had to suck it up and get on with it."
In a glowing tribute to Stephen, Mel gushes: "This time I've done it with my partner - someone to get excited by every scan - and it feels like I've finally done it right."
Describing little Madison's birth, Mel reckons she laughed throughout - and it was chuckles and not pushing which delivered her third daughter!
"Five big chuckles and she was out," she says!
