Here in the UK when we talk about Nicki Minaj there tends to be a bit of a 'What's a Nicki Minaj?' type response.
Well, to answer that, she's had a bit of chart success, once even getting to first base with the lower end of the UK top ten once but generally she's very much a US success who hasn't really translated over here particularly well. She also turns up at red carpet events wearing hideous-but-amazing togs which is why we like her - standing out amongst the zillion little black dresses (COUGH COUGH ANISTON COUGH) she is a beacon of cheery bad taste.
