This super-cute, albeit very sad video is proving a hit online.
An American dad serving in the Army has recorded a reading of a bedtime story for his two-year-old daughter.
In the clip, the dad lovingly reads a book called Farmer Mickey to his adorable toddler, before asking the little lady for a hug and a kiss.

After she gets up and hugs the TV screen, the proud dad says, 'I love you' before the screen freezes on his face. The toddler looks a little confused and seems to try and touch the screen to talk to her dad again.
The video was uploaded to YouTube by the toddler's mum, and has had over 70,000 hits in two days.
