Lewis Hamilton has reportedly admitted he's been having a "tough time" since he and singer Nicole Scherzinger ended their relationship.
The Formula 1 star, 26, and US X Factor judge Nicole, 33, split earlier this month after four years together - but Lewis revealed they are still friends.
The motor ace is quoted in The Sun as saying: "These times are sent to try you. And it's about how you pull through them."
He added: "We're friends and we can move forward. I have my family who are helping. So I feel pretty good."
The relationship is rumoured to have ended because former Pussycat Doll Nicole was keen to settle down and have children.
The Daily Mirror reports that Lewis called time on the courtship after deciding he wasn't ready to start a family.
A source told the newspaper: "Lewis decided they had to part, she wanted more than he could offer at this stage in his life."
