Kai Rooney And 100 Guests Party With Llamas And Horses For His Second Birthday

Remember your second birthday party? Nan and grandad round for a slice of cake and some silly hat wearing and party-popper pulling? You in tears by tea-time because your siblings and cousins were monopolising your new toys?

We wonder what recollections Kai Rooney will have of his, considering it was all about the LLAMAS, SHETLAND PONES and STAFF DRESSED AS COWS. We somehow doubt they'll be much like ours...

Mum and dad Wayne and Coleen appear to have pulled out all the stops for their little boy's big day - or, as The Sun puts it 'splashed out thousands' - as they hired animals and entertainers to wow the tot and his hundred-plus party guests.

A sign saying 'Welcome to Kai's Birthday FunFarm!' was erected in a party space at Aintree racecourse, and balloon models of tractors and animals were festooned on every wall.

A source told the paper:'It looked amazing. There were balloons twisted into the shape of tractors, and animals everywhere.

'Then somebody who looked like Snow White walked in with a goat.

'All the children were in checked-shirts, wellies and hats and some of the adults wore similar outfits.'

And as for little Kai, he was said to be 'having the time of his life' and thanked his guests with a message projected on the wall of the building at the end of the bash which read:

'Thank you for sharing my special day. Love Kai x'

Dad Wayne, 26, meanwhile took to Twitter to proclaim: 'Had a great day at Kai's birthday party. He loved it.'

The 'somebody who looked like Snow White walked in with a goat' did it for us. But let's hope little Kai got some jelly and ice cream as well as llamas.

Do you splash the cash on your kids' birthday parties?

Or is it old-skool jelly and ice cream style bashes?
