Justin Bieber Takes DNA Test To Prove He's Not The Dad Of Mariah Yeater's Baby Son

Bieber Takes DNA Test To Prove He's No Daddy

Justin Bieber has earned himself another rockstar stripe - taking a paternity test after a fan claimed he fathered her child.

The 17-year old singer took the test at a laboratory on Friday, according to website TMZ.com, in an effort to prove himself innocent of the allegations that he had a sexual encounter with Mariah Yeater, following a concert in Staples Center, LA.

The 20-year-old girl had previously dropped her lawsuit against the singer, although her lawyers intimated they would be pursuing the matter privately with the singer.

Bieber's camp have made it clear, however, that they will not agree to settle this case, with his lawyers calling the claims untrue and "vindictive".

Bieber said last week: "All this stuff is dealt with by my legal team. But if they want me to (take a paternity test) then I will."

When asked what he would say to Mariah if he could meet her, he said: "Nothing, I wouldn't waste my time. I guess [she's done this] for attention, but it's not something I am interested in. These people are not worth my thought or time."
