Now this is a Santa's grotto with a difference. When we first discovered that Lady Gaga was set to have her very own festive workshop at Barneys department store in New York, we highly suspected that it wouldn't be your average Christmas offering - and turns out, we were right. It's quite the feast for the eyes...
The Lady herself was on hand at the grand opening last night, which in true Gaga style meant dramatics, huge crowds, large numbers of security and a rather exquisite outfit.

In her own take on the Snow Queen, Gaga arrived wearing a custom-made Chanel Couture gown which featured a huge (and we mean huge) Victorian-era skirt, which she teamed with stacks of jewels, a rose-adorned Chanel bag, a feathered fascinator and huge glitter-studded platform shoes.
The singer cut the ribbon (with some pretty theatrical scissors) which signalled the opening of Gaga's grand Workshop, before stepping inside to check it out for herself, and pose for photos with a select few lucky shoppers.

Designed by the Lady herself, in collaboration with designer pal Nicola Formichetti, the workshop contains everything you could possibly need to finish off your Christmas list - from bizarre books to Gaga-inspired sweets, and more hair accessories than we'd know what to do with...
Can't quite make it over to New York to see it for yourself? Never fear, we have all the pictures here! Step inside Gaga's grotto below...
