I'm A Celebrity: Pat Sharp Claims Pantomime Rage 'All Part Of A Plan'

Panto Villain Pat's Rage 'All Part Of A Plan'

Self-styled "panto villain" Pat Sharp claimed his outbursts against his fellow contestants in I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! were all part of a plan to win much-needed food for the camp.

The former mullet-haired presenter had blasted Sinitta for "wimping around" after her poor performances in the bushtucker trials left them hungry.

The sharp-tongued Smooth Radio host was promptly voted in to take part in the next trial and told the So Macho singer it had been his "plan all along" and that was why he had also threatened to steal Lorraine Chase's teddy bear.

He said: "I behaved the way I did yesterday because I wanted to get the public to vote for me to do a trial.

"I've got a scam going at the moment which is why I went overboard on Tedward, not to make Lorraine cry, I did it to get a go at something, I'm not a nasty person. Don't go on a show and not get involved in it, I want to be on this show, I don't want to sit and watch another task that Sinitta fails, boring."

He did not convince everyone, with Coronation Street actor Antony Cotton saying: "I don't quite believe that," and describing Pat as "the unfunniest man I've ever met".

But even Antony was impressed when Pat came back from the challenge with 11 stars out of a possible 12 after coming face to face with creepy crawlies and lizards along the way.

Sharp will have to endure another Bushtucker Trial after he was chosen by the public for the second night in a row.

The trial will take place in an empty shack, called the Bushman's Bungalow, deep within the jungle.
