Lady Gaga ditched the Snow Queen look from her Barney's Christmas workshop in favour of a rather revealing jet black Stephane Rolland gown for a trip to the International Emmy Awards ceremony on Monday at the New York Hilton.

Lady G wasn't just there to snaffle a canapé or two - she was in attendance to present Nigel Lythgoe (he of So You Think You Can Dance and American Idol/Pop Idol fame) with an honorary award.
Gaga gave a personal speech as she handed over the Emmy, referring to Lythgoe as a man who "has always helped to nurture and foster my ideas, no matter how crazy or demographic-unfriendly they may have been". Nigel returned the favour, calling the singer "the most creatively talented woman in showbusiness right now".

It seems her creativity is currently manifesting itself in finding a way to wear a dress which appears crafted solely to offer photographers the chance of some full-frontal nudity without seeming to wear any knickers AND without actually flashing anything.
The answer? A pair of flesh coloured knickers so close to the singer's skin tone that it just looks like an odd thigh crease accompanying an eye-watering wax job.
