Was Lady Gaga's Dress Meant For Someone Taller?

GUESS WHO: It Turns Out This Dress Was Meant For Someone Else..

It turns out Lady Gaga's super high-cut dress at the International Emmys Monday night in New York showed more than it was meant to.

Gaga, never afraid to wear something outrageous, wore it with pride. But now a spokesperson for its designer - Stephane Rolland Haute Couture in France - has told TMZ, the asymmetrical black frock came straight off the catwalk... thus it was meant to be worn by a model much taller than Gaga.

The rep told the gossip site: "The slit came way further up her waist than what our designers had in mind."

The Born This Way singer is no stranger to flashing, and fortunately even the designer wasn't upset at how she'd accidentally lowered the tone of the dress.

Despite the wardrobe malfunction, Stephane Rolland insisted: "We're not mad that the dress ended up looking like that on Gaga... she does make it a little naughtier!"

Gaga made a surprise appearance at the awards to present an honorary International Emmy Founders Award to Britain's Nigel Lythgoe, executive producer of American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance?
