Rochelle Wiseman from The Saturdays has revealed that the discovery of an ovarian cyst left her fearing for her long-term fertility.
Rochelle, 22 - whose band-mate Una Healy is expecting her first baby next year - underwent surgery to remove the growth from her ovary over the summer.
She tells The Mirror she was "really scared" when medics told her they would have to operate - and what it could mean in terms of her ever becoming a mum.
"I was scared about the operation but I just wanted to get it over with and make sure I was healthy.
"I was worried that I wouldn't be able to have babies. It's every woman's first thought in a situation like that - but I had a really good doctor who put me at ease."
Rochelle is currently in a relationship with JLS singer Marvin Humes. She says she is looking forward to being an "auntie" to Una's baby next year, whilst Marvin recently revealed he would be volunteering for babysitting duties!
Rochelle added that she would be "fine now" but will be having regular check-ups.
