When this Chinese cop was run over by an illegal taxi, he was determined not to let the driver get away -- so he clung onto the speeding car for three miles.
In scenes which wouldn't look out of place in a Hollywood movie, Officer Huang Teng held onto the car's bonnet as it reached speeds of up to 94mph in a bid to dislodge him.
Teng had initially tried to stop the car for a routine inspection in Sichuan province, when the driver ran into his motorcycle, leaving the brave cop on the hood of the car.
He then managed to cling to the bonnet of the grey Hyundai until his colleagues were able to stop the dangerous driver, who was later found to be illegally operating the taxi with fake licence plates.
And while Teng collapsed unconscious when the car eventually came to a standstill doctors say he somehow managed to escape the incident with no serious injuries.
Speaking after the bizarre chase, Teng said: "I didn't feel like I could hang on, but I knew my colleagues were in pursuit. I heard the sound of the sirens. I couldn't see them.
"I didn't really feel anything at the time l was on the car. I was just listening for the sirens."
