Katherine Kelly has waved farewell to Coronation Street, having completed her final scenes.
The 32-year-old actress, who announced her decision to leave the ITV1 soap in April, shot her last scenes as feisty barmaid Becky McDonald on December 9.
"Last day filming on the cobbles..." she initially tweeted before announcing: "It is done. Becky has left the Street! I hope you enjoy the departure Corrie viewers. Final eps on screen Mid Jan. Enjoy! It's all for you x"
Her co-star Paula Lane, who plays Becky's half-sister Kylie Platt, also expressed her sadness at Katherine's exit.
"Filming some very emotional scenes today with my on screen big sis @katherine_kelly. Everyone is gonna miss her so much :-(" she wrote.
Katherine's character is rumoured to be involved in dramatic scenes for the Christmas Day episode, as the love triangle between her, screen husband Steve (Simon Gregson) and Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) looks set to reach its climax.
Katherine, who will star in a new production of She Stoops To Conquer at London's National Theatre in January, has said that the decision to leave the show was the hardest she's ever had to make.
"I just feel like the time has come for a change, and it is just as dull as that. I have tried to spice it up as much as I can, but there's not a lot more to say," she admitted.
