Did you catch the last total lunar eclipse for three years over the weekend? No? No matter, here are photos of the celestial event from around the world.
In the UK, the eclipse was marred by cloudy grey skies, and the kind of finger-freezing weather that keeps even the keenest lunatic indoors.
The red moon was visible across the much warmer regions of Asia and Australia and also on the west coast of the US.
During the total eclipse, which is the last for three years, the moon darkened and displayed a range of colours including orange and red.
The moon also seemed much larger than usual, a familiar site to those who observed the giant moon during June 2011's lunar eclipse.
