X Factor winners Little Mix have insisted they do not want to be girl band "clones" and are planning on "writing their own stuff".
Little Mix's Perrie Edwards told BBC Radio 1: "We can't wait to start writing our own stuff and get our album out there."
The 18-year-old from Newcastle, who had her X Factor dreams realised on Sunday night, also toldThe Metro:"We've got the track coming up, it's going to be incredible. It's going to be a great experience and after that it will be the album and we'll start writing and we can't wait to get into the studio and start writing our own stuff."
The girls, who have been compared to other successful girl groups Girls Aloud, The Spice Girls and The Saturdays, have also revealed their plans to keep their originality.
Jade Thirlwall said: "We have a music team we'll be working with and they'll have ideas and hopefully we'll have ours and we can work together and come up with an absolute tune and good songs for the album."
Perrie said: "We've each got our own individuality and girls can look up to you and say 'I want to be like that one' or 'I'm like her'.
"We're not a girl group that's just clones of each other. We're all so different."
When asked about Gary Barlow's comments that the group should pick a lead singer, and that lead should be Perrie, Jade told us: "We all can sing, if it was just one singer it would get boring."
The girls said their first paycheck will be spent on their "mummies" and their "pug".
