They were the hottest X Factor couple since, errrm, Harry Styles and Caroline Flack, but it looks as if it's all over before it's even begun for Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards and One Direction's Zayn Malik.
Fresh from winning The X Factor, Perrie has denied reports she is dating the boybander, asking 'what romance?'
The blonde was rumoured to be dating the quiffed singer, but the pair were reportedly keeping their tryst on the down-low in fear of a backlash from obsessive One Direction fans.
But she was keen to dismiss the reports on her first day of press interviews.
"I've heard rumours too. It's mad isn't it? I've heard rumours we're dating but it's the first I've heard," she said.
For now, Perrie says the only thing she's got her eye on is the top of the charts, stating the band's success comes before any romantic dalliances.
"At the moment I don't have time for anything like that. I'm so focused on this now. We've just won The X Factor. We've got the tour comping up, the single's coming out, we're going to start working on the album after the tour. I just don't really have the time to date anyone unfortunately."
Cor blimey, she's only been a bona fide popstar for one day and she's already plugging like a pro.
However, she did confirm that numbers had been exchanged when they met at the recording of the X Factor charity single, Wishing on A Star, when they teamed up with the One Direction boys.
So we won't put our hat back in the box just yet then.
