We're thrilled to announce that our fabulous contributing editor Christopher Kane and Erdem - sees the winner presented with £200,000 and bespoke mentoring from leading fashion industry figures.
But there's some pretty serious competition: also nominated for this year's prize are Jonathan Saunders, Peter Pilotto, Roksanda Ilincic, Marios Schwab, Richard Nicoll, Nicholas Kirkwood, Zoe Jordan and Meadham Kirchoff... What a list!
The final shortlist of nominees were selected by the Designer Fashion Fund panel, which includes Samantha Cameron, and Vogue editor Alexander Shulman.
"The calibre of this year's BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund shortlist reflects the exceptional talent that exists within the British Fashion industry today," BFC chairman Harold Tillman told Vogue.
"Each designer has enhanced the capital's profile as a centre of fashion innovation, and we are proud to be able to offer the winning designer the financial support and mentoring needed to help their brand grow internationally."

The winner will be announced in the March issue of Vogue, and all eight runners up will also receive industry mentoring.
