Nicole Scherzinger took the idea of a video shoot way too literally during a recent trip to Mexico when she was held up at gunpoint by a terrifying crew of gangsters.
The former Pussycat Doll was preparing to dance around in the the Xilitla rainforest in October for her next single Try With Me's promo when a gang of armed mobsters rolled up brandishing some seriously scary weapons.
The thugs rummaged through Nicole's car as dozens of gun-wielding madmen kept her entourage in sight from nearby bushes.
The ordeal only ended when local cops came to the rescue. And despite travelling in bullet-proof cars and having beefed-up security because of the area's rife drug dealing problems, the singer was left shaken and petrified.
Choreographer Brian Friedman, also known as the bloke who's always wearing a hoody on The X Factor, went along with Nicole on the crazy ride.
Speaking to Star magazine, he explains: "We were held at gunpoint. People next to our cars... there were M16s and Berettas! Nicole cursed me with this trip. It was the craziest adventure ever!"
