Imogen Thomas has revealed the terror she experienced as a result of death threats received by her and her family following the publicity surrounding allegations of her affair with footballer Ryan Giggs.
The former Big Brother star's sister and brother-in-law Alana and Enrique Diaz were forced into hiding after their two-year-old son was allegedly targeted by cyber bullies.
Speaking to The Sun, brother-in-law Enrique said: "It is horrible to receive a death threat against your son. It was a really stressful, crazy time."
In a separate conversation with The Sun last May, Chilean Enrique said the chilling threats included promises that Imogen's nephew would be "shot thru (sic) the head".
The couple approached the police and were told to change their daily routines to stop them being followed and the family was advised to stay with friends so they could not be located at their home in Llanelli, South Wales.
Enrique said: "You don't know if a stranger could suddenly lash out and attack you. The police told us to move around. When we did stay in our own house all the doors were locked all the time.
"I was in the car with the boy and I kept thinking, 'Anyone could jump on us at any time'."
Imogen's relatives also described the stress the brunette beauty went through following the experience and claimed she returned home to the family "in bits".
The star has once again found happiness after she was spotted out and about with current city trader boyfriend Alan Horsley at London's Winter Wonderland last weekend.
