Lady Gaga might have been voted the most overrated act in the Billboard.com 2011 poll but we can't say that she hasn't made an effort on the image front.

Gaga stepped out on a shopping trip in Tokyo today in a look that can only be described as golden. On the other hand, wearing an outfit that looks like a Quality Street wrapper is a good attempt at festive.
For once, the fact that she wasn't wearing any trousers was disguised by her quilted, metallic coat with tassel embellishments. That, and the gold-fingered gloves paired with the gold-chain shades of course.
As for the hair, Gaga swapped her candy pink locks for a Rapunzel-length side ponytail in a colour that was almost as shiny as her jacket. She's not the only one that needed sunglasses this afternoon...
