JLS Put Their Partying Days Behind Them

Swapping Nightclubs For Golf Clubs

JLS were once well known for their partying ways but the boys are set to have a settled 2012 as they take to the golf course to improve their handicap this year.

The former X Factor contestants have been frequently snapped at parties and leaving nightclubs with lovely ladies on their arms, but they've now revealed a new-found addiction to golf in a recent chat with the Daily Mirror.

JB said: "We've taken up golf as a hobby and we're really getting on it.

"We are all kind of a similar standard, except for Oritse who hasn't picked it up yet.

"Aston probably has the best drive, Marvin has the best short game and my 'inbetween' shots are quite good.

"But the game takes time so when we get better we'll get a handicap and all that sort of stuff."

JB is no stranger to sport as he revealed he was particularly active in his school days.

He said: "I used to play rugby when I was at school and I lost in the final of a tournament to a side we had beaten in the normal season.

"I threw the second-place medal on the floor, I was really bad.

"And I used to play football in scouts. I was in goal and in a final there were sudden-death penalties.

"The ball went underneath my body into the goal. I don't know what got into me but I burst out crying."

Perhaps the boyband hunks are looking to tone down their antics and follow in Marvin's footsteps after he got engaged to The Saturdays singer Rochelle Wiseman last week.

The pair are planning to tie the knot within the next 10 days, according to the Daily Star.

A source told the paper: "After getting engaged this Christmas, Rochelle and Marvin didn't waste any time in thinking about dates.

"They knew they didn't want a long engagement that dragged on for months."

So the guys could be on the market for a wife - get in there quick, girls!
