One of EastEnders' most loved stars, Pat Evans, bowed out of the Square on New Year's Day, but although she's gone, she will not be forgotten, after a rapper immortalised her life in an eight-minute track.
EastEnders fan and aspiring rapper Joe Jacobs, 26, has made his very own dedication to the famous soap battleaxe, played by actress Pam St Clement and known for her eccentric taste in earrings.
The track, posted on YouTube, gives a comprehensive story of her life, telling the story of her soulmate Frank Butcher, her time on the game, her marriage to Pete Beal and Brian Wicks, and her affair with Patrick Truman.
It also includes her turbulent friendship with Peggy Mitchell and her years with the Jackson family.
Jacobs told The Huffington Post UK: "I was inspired to make it since she had been in the show as long as I had been alive. Plus I always admired the resilience of the character. She had it tough.
"I also like the challenge of writing something that in theory would not be credible but that I can somehow make work."
Jacobs, who says he's now working "at being the greatest rap singer in the land", is still a fan of the BBC1 soap.
"I still dig EastEnders. I'm a fan of the old school era. My fondest EastEnders memories are Cindy and Wicksy's sordid affair in the car lot culminating in a mafia hit to take Ian out," he explains.
Of course condensing Pat's life into eight minutes is no easy feat, after she spent almost 26 years in Walford.
Jacobs says: "The Pat facts were obtained partly from my own knowledge and then a little research to keep the facts accurate. I actually had to take out a lot because it could of gone on forever. We recorded it very quickly too since I had work the next day and was tired."
