Blue Ivy Carter has begun her new life as the most famous celeb baby in the land after she was allowed home with parents Beyonce and Jay-Z last night.
It has been confirmed Beyonce - who gave birth to Blue Ivy on Saturday - was released from hospital at 1.30am on Tuesday morning, according to The New York Daily News.
The singer and her rapper husband left the Lenox Hill Hospital in New York with the newborn via the back door and were picked up in a blacked out van and two SUVs.
"[It was] very precise, very military-like," an eye witness said. "Immediately, security personnel began leaving the hospital."
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the hospital has denied reports the couple handed over $1.3m to take over an entire floor, calling them "simply not true", TMZ reports.
"The family is housed in an executive suite at the hospital and is being billed the standard rate for those accommodations," they said.
"The family does have its own security detail on site. However, the hospital has been and continues to be in control of managing all security at the facility. We have made every effort to ensure minimal disruption to other families experiencing the births of their own children over the past three days."
However, one man had claimed he was stopped from seeing his newborn son while Beyonce was in the hospital, describing it as being like an "exclusive nightclub".
