Brits: Adele To Make Comeback Performance At 2012 Awards

Adele's Big Brits Comeback

Adele stole the show with her breathtaking performance of Someone Like You at the 2011 Brit Awards. Now she's set to return to the stage - for hopefully another spectacular performance at the 2012 Brits.

The Rolling In The Deep singer will make her highly-anticipated comeback, after undergoing throat surgery and having to cancel tour dates in 2011, at the Brit Awards on 21 February.

Her performance at last year's Awards was universally praised and saw sales of her album 21 sky-rocket by a stunning 890 per cent on Amazon.co.uk less than an hour after she left the stage, where 4.9m watched the awards on TV and thousands more tuned in to relive her performance online.

It was also announced today that she's been nominated for three Awards: Best Female Solo Artist, British Single for Someone Like You, and the Mastercard British Album of the Year for her album 21.

Adele was last nominated for three Brits in 2009 after the release of her debut album 19, which saw her receive nods for Best British Female, Best British Single and Best British Breakthrough Act. However, she returned home empty-handed.

Fans of the Grammy Award winner, who has recently made the headlines for bagging a new man, have been eager to see her return to the stage - so much so that a recent TV recording of her performance at the Royal Albert Hall, which aired on BBC1 on New Year's Day, saw sales of 21 boost so high that it regained its place at the top of the UK album charts, exactly one year after its release.

The question now is - what should Adele pick to sing at the Awards? Other artists confirmed to perform on the night are Blur, Coldplay, Bruno Mars, Florence and the Machine, Ed Sheeran and Noel Gallagher High Flying Birds. Let us know what you'd like to hear below...
