Angelina Jolie may have lost out in the Golden Globe prizes, but she is already looking ahead.
Jolie's film In The Land Of Blood and Honey had been nominated in the category for Best Foreign Film, but was beaten to the award by the Iranian film The Separation.
However, it seemed Jolie's spirits remained high, particularly as she had already taken the opportunity of the networking available this week in Hollywood to book herself another director.
Spanish moviemaker Pedro Almodovar promised to cast her in a new film after the actress half-jokingly reprimanded him for not working with her during a Hollywood gala on Saturday.
The pair met at the annual pre-Golden Globes foreign language seminar at the Egyptian Theatre, where they discussed their latest films The Skin I Live In and In the Land of Blood and Honey.
Jolie provided a light-hearted moment for reporters on the red carpet when she took aim at the Spaniard for not hiring her for one of his films.
She joked, "You have never given me a job."
Unprepared Almodovar responded, "Don't worry, you are joining now. Absolutely."
And he nodded when the actress added, "So one day, when all these cameras are gone, we find a film together (sic)?"
