Jodie Marsh may have a lot to thank her breasts for career-wise, but the former glamour model has revealed the hell she endured after having them enlarged.
Jodie - who had her natural breasts boosted to a 32GG in 2008 - has unveiled the extreme scarring she is forced to live with after the procedure didn't go to plan, which left her with open and infected wounds.
The model told Heat magazine how she wishes she'd never had the surgery, after originally believing her natural breasts began to look "hideous" as she got older.
"I initially had a boob job because they were getting saggier as I got older. But it turned into a nightmare," she explained.
"When I woke up, they were so swollen. I couldn't move. The first dressing was taken off after a week or so - that's when I saw that I wasn't healing. My boob was open and bleeding."
The star had what is called the lollipop procedure, where the nipple is removed and put back on again, but she told how the stitches began popping off, leaving her with open wounds which became infected.
"My boobs looked like they were exploding. It was so painful," she said. "There was green pus coming out of my boobs and they constantly bled. I was so scared. I laid on my bed for days, crying.
"It has left me with a huge scar that will never go away. At first, I was so embarrassed in front of boyfriends I wouldn’t take my top off."
The bodybuilder has recently spoken out in the wake of the PIP implant scandal, telling of her fear she may have the faulty silicone implants.
"I am really worried about it," she told The Sun. "Nobody has been in touch with me from the hospital but I want to contact them to double check."
The full interview with Jodie appears in this week's Heat magazine, out today.
