Katy Perry took to the stage late for the final show of her California Dreams tour on Sunday after "a security issue" delayed her entrance.
The I Kissed a Girl hitmaker wrapped her 124-date trek with a gig at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds in Manila, the Philippines - but fans were left waiting for their idol.
She eventually took to the stage and later explained her tardiness in a post on her Twitter.com page.
Perry told fans: "Thanks for an AMAZING FINAL CDT date Manila! Sorry to keep u waiting earlier... had to solve a security issue, but THE SHOW WENT SPLENDIDLY!"
And after discovering a cancer-stricken fan had died earlier in the day, she dedicated the show to her.
She added: "I hope you're finding peace up there on that pink cotton candy cloud. I dedicate this last show to u, sweet dreams angel RIP KatyCatAllie."
Perry made a return to the stage last week after cancelling her appearance at the People's Choice Awards in America earlier this month and going in to hiding following her split from husband Russell Brand.
