Andrew Garfield has donned the famous red and blue 'unitard', swinging into action in the new trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man, debuted last night.
The 3D reboot of Marvel's flagship superhero story, in cinemas 3 July, stars Garfield - best known for his role in The Social Network - and girl of the moment Emma Stone, as Spider-Man's romantic interest Gwen Stacy.
Speaking at a New York City movie multiplex, in a presentation of new footage from the highly-anticipated film, Garfield told the audience: "I'm terrified right now."
However, his fears are well hidden in the trailer, which shows him transform from a young Peter Parker into a crime fighting, building scaling superhero, in the "untold story" of how high school student Parker stumbles across a mysterious briefcase and begins to delve into the disappearance of his parents.
