Some of Britain's biggest music artists will go head-to-head with America's best performers for Grammy success on Sunday night.
Flying the flag for homegrown tunes at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards will be Adele, Coldplay, Radiohead and folk rock band Mumford and Sons, all of whom are nominated for multiple awards.
The biggest night on the music industry's calendar will also play host to Adele's highly-anticipated comeback performance. The Someone Like You singer will take to the stage for her first live show in five months after undergoing vocal chord surgery.
Adele is no stranger to Grammys success - she previously won a pair of Awards in 2009 for her debut album, 19, winning Best New Artist and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. However, Sunday will undoubtedly be one of the biggest nights of her career so far, as the world awaits the return of her breathtaking vocals and sees whether anything can match that night at the Brits last year.
The Rolling In The Deep singer, who's "immensely proud to have been asked to perform" is also up for six trophies: Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Short Form Music Video for Rolling In The Deep; Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for 21; and Best Pop Solo Performance for Someone Like You. She's just one nod behind Kanye West, who leads the nominations for the Grammy Awards 2012, with seven nominations altogether.
But while all eyes will no doubt be on Adele, fellow British acts Radiohead, Coldplay and Mumford & Sons will also be hoping to bring home a gong or two.
All three will be vying for Best Rock Performance, along with the Foo Fighters, and for Best Rock Song, a category The Decemberists are also hoping to win.
Mumford & Sons and their song The Cave will go up against Adele's Rolling In The Deep for Song Of The Year. Americans Bruno Mars, Kayne West and Bon Iver are also in the coveted category.
And Radiohead will battle it out against Bon Iver, Death Cab For Cutie, Foster The People and My Morning Jacket for Best Alternative Music Album.
Finally, the late Amy Winehouse is in the running for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for her Body And Soul duet with Tony Bennett. Coldplay are also nominated in this category, alongside Maroon 5 & Christina Aguilera, Foster The People and The Black Keys.
With 110 categories and 500 nominees mainly filled with American acts, it can be hard for Brits to make their mark at the Grammys. Last year, Sir Paul McCartney and Jeff Beck walked away with nods but this year may have a little more success in the main categories.
Can Adele pip Katy Perry's poptastic tunes, Rihanna's racy routines and Gaga's eccentric energy with her classy, uncomplicated perfection? And can Radiohead, Coldplay and Mumford & Sons prove it's us Brits who really know how to rock?
