Friday
New Girl - 8.30pm, Channel 4
Zooey Deschanel celebrates Thanksgiving with her crush in tonight's episode of New Girl. From what we've seen of Zooey's ditzy character Jess so far, this can only end in disaster. If you can get past the self-obsessed theme songs, then the show should raise a smile.
Wild About Pandas - 9.00pm, BBC2
Who isn't wild about pandas? These bears - who look way more cuddly than they actually are - are the focus of an unmissable BBC2 documentary tonight. And the stars aren't just any old pandas - but Tian Tian and Yang Guang, the Chinese pandas transferred to Edinburgh Zoo in December 2011. The programme, narrated by David Tennant, watches as vet Simon Girling travels to China to find out how the pair fare in their homeland, while keeper Alison Maclean heads to the Wolong reserve to investigate efforts to introduce more of the species into the wild.

Made With Love - 6.30pm, Food Network
If you're planning on cooking up a storm for your loved one in the kitchen this Valentine's Day, then take some inspiration from this show for loved-up foodies. Dancing On Ice professional skater Matt Evers joins Lotte Duncan in the kitchen to create romantic dishes and drinks designed to make the mouth water and hearts leap.
The Jonathan Ross Show - 9.15pm, ITV1
Joining Wossy on his star-spangled sofa this Saturday is double Oscar-winner Denzel Washington, who talks about his forthcoming thriller Safe House, and Pirates of the Caribbean's Keira Knightley, whose latest film A Dangerous Method (in which she's spanked by Michael Fassbender) is out this weekend.
Sunday
Call The Midwife - 8.00pm, BBC1
This drama starring Miranda Hart has quickly become a highlight of our weekend TV. In this Sunday's episode, Jenny tackles a taboo as she comes across an unnaturally close brother and sister. And Chummy (Hart) faces down a torrent of ribaldry when she shows the women of Poplar what to do with condoms.
The British Academy Film Awards - 9.00pm, BBC1
It's the biggest night in the British film industry's calendar on Sunday as A-listers head to London's Royal Opera House for 2012's BAFTA ceremony. Stephen Fry returns to host the event after a five-year break and emotional acceptance speeches are expected as the stars battle it out for the top prizes. Gary Oldman, George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Michael Fassbender and Jean Dujardin are all up for Best Actor, while the Best Actress category sees a five-way contest between Meryl Streep, Michelle Williams, Tilda Swinton, Viola Davis and Berenice Bejo. Wise money's on Streep and Oldman, but check back on the site on Sunday night for full coverage of the event.
