With the tragic news of Whitney Houston's death yesterday, Jennifer Hudson stepped up to the nerve-wracking role of paying tribute to the singer with an a cappella rendition of her most famous hit, I Will Always Love You, at the Grammy Awards 2012.

The singer looked stunning in a simple, fitted black gown as she honoured Whitney with a breathtaking version of The Bodyguard song.
Other stars such as Amy Winehouse and Etta James were also remembered after Hudson's emotional performance.
