She may be divorcing one of this country's biggest stars, but Katy Perry was out to prove she is still an honorary English rose as she stepped out on Saturday with a ma-hoosive flower in her hair.
Katy took hair accessorising to whole new levels as she donned the rose headdress at the 2012 MusiCares Person Of The Year Gala.
It was back to the day job for Katy as she returned to the stage in the wake of her split from Russell Brand.
The singer was there to honour Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney who was awarded the prestigious gong, and blasted out a rendition of the classic Hey Jude.
Katy said she was honoured to cover the track for Macca, tweeting: "Thanks to Sir Paul McCartney for inviting me to give my spin on Hey Jude. As Eddie Izzard said tonight, your songs are eternal!"
Last week it was revealed that Russell would not be chasing half of Katy's £28m fortune, despite having no pre-nup agreement in place.
New documents were filed by Russell last Tuesday, but the couple will have to wait until June 30 for the divorce to become official due to a six-month waiting period.
