If might not be the first thing you'd think of when someone says "moving tribute to Whitney Houston" but the Dubai Fountain dancing to the tune of her classic love song I Will Always Love You really is rather wonderful.
Choreographed by students at the nearby English College Dubai, the world famous attraction in the middle of the 30-acre manmade Burj Khalifa Lake in downtown Dubai used all of its 6,600 lights and 25 coloured projectors to create the UAE's final farewell to the great singer.
Capable of blasting 22,000 gallons (83,000 litres) of water into the air at any one time, the Dubai Fountain is a serious piece of kit. Then again, what did you expect from a water feature that cost $218 million to produce back in 2009?
