David Haye Returns To UK But Faces Ban After Dereck Chisora Fight (Video)

Missing Haye Found

British boxer David Haye has finally been found after apparently going missing following his brawl with Dereck Chisora on Saturday night.

Haye is wanted for questioning by German police over the nasty fight which happened during a post bout press conference.

The British Boxing Board of Control's Robert Smith told BBC Radio 5 Live that the disgraced pair could now face life-time bans for their brawl.

Chisora's promoter Frank Warren revealed on Monday morning that Haye was back in the UK, as officers continued to search for him for questioning. Chisora and his trainer Don Charles were held at the city's airport on Sunday, but the former was released without charge.

Police could not locate Haye at his hotel on Sunday morning and he then failed to turn up for his scheduled flight. Officers visited the hotel in the early hours of the morning and knocked on doors of guests in a bid to ascertain the Londoner's whereabouts.

Police spokesman Gottfried Schlicht told Sky Sports News: "David Haye is not in his hotel, he is not at the airport. We don't know where he is."

Chisora and Haye clashed at the post-fight press conference after Vitali Klitschko had beaten Chisora on points to defend his WBC title.

Haye made an appearance at the news conference to confront Klitschko, who he believes changed his mind on a potential fight between the duo.

That however sparked a verbal exchange with Chisora before the pair squared up and came to blows. Haye's trainer Adam Booth suffered a cut head and Haye was accused of glassing Chisora amidst the melee.
