Bond Ambition: Cate Blanchett Wants To Be A Bad Guy

There are countless starlets that can primp and preen for the camera, but few do it with the cool, understated elegance of Cate Blanchett. And her shoot in the upcoming April edition of Harper's Bazaar demonstrates exactly what we mean.

The Aussie actress demonstrates her style chameleon qualities, switching from an androgynous Antonio Berardi white suit to a lace ruffled McQueen gown.

In an interview with the magazine, Cate makes us love her that little bit more when she reveals her ambitions to play Bond villain, citing the unglamorous baddie in 1963's From Russia with Love ."Oh God! Yes! I'd be there in a heartbeat," she says, "I love Lotta Lenya. She had a club foot and a limp. I'm not a purist in that way."
