Coronation Street's Karl Munro is left terrified when he gets stuck on the roof of the Rovers Return.
The flirtatious pub owner's plan to install a big screen TV in the bar backfires when the satellite upsets the residents and landlady girlfriend Stella Price orders him to take it down, and then takes the ladder away to get revenge on him.
John Michie, who plays Karl, told the TV Times: "Karl is scared of heights and it terrifies him. At the same time Stella tells him she's sold the TV.
"That annoys him as he paid a lot of money for it and he thinks she's only got a fraction of what it's worth."
Karl is furious with Stella as he thought the TV was a great idea for the pub, but the regulars don't want to watch football and storm out. On top of that, the signal interferes with Steve McDonald's taxi company radio.
Gambling addict Karl's relationship with Stella is heading for trouble, at the same time as Sunita is feeling let down by husband Dev. And the unlikely pair are set to find comfort in each other's arms with a raunchy affair.
