Two days ago, the world record for the biggest mattress-based human domino run stood at 550, as carried out by a group of plucky Belgians last year.
Today, New Orleans holds the coveted title, with 850 volunteers strapping themselves to mattresses and falling over and over and over and over until every single one of them was giggling on the floor.
But if that 850-high watermark seems unbeatable, remember how easy it is to do - all you need is 851 people you know, enough money to buy them all mattresses, a massive aircraft hangar and the unstoppable desire for 10 minutes of fame.
Actually, now we look at it written down, it looks a lot harder than we first thought. A bit like the longest paper airplane throw of all time, really.
And for those of you who were worried that all these mattresses were going to waste, worry not, because the mattresses are set to be put to good use in the local community. Huzzah!
As for the human domino record sans mattresses? That's held by over 10,000 Chinese people. Don't believe us? Well, fair enough...
