When internationally renowned graffiti artist Tilt was let loose in a French hotel room, the idea of waking up on the wrong side of the bed was taken to a whole new level.
Welcome to Panic Room, just one of the bedrooms of Marseille hotel, Au Vieux Panier.
Split in two, while one side remains a blank canvas, the other is a mind boggling rainbow of colours and designs. On the graffiti side no space has been spared; the bed, floors, walls and even a pen are all covered in wacky colours.
Each year the tiny hotel comprising of just five bedrooms commissions artists to redesign a room each.
Alongside Tilt this year are designs by Eugenie Bergeon, Mass Confusion, Mourad Messoubeur and Philippe Baudelocque.
Describing himself as a "graffiti fetishist", Tilt explains his influences and background on his site:
"My focus on fun, high impact shapes and strong colours is a reflection of my history as a true graffiti writer, trained on the streets and in the train yards. Similarly, my extensive use of bubbly, curvaceous forms relates to an obsession with beautiful females."
