TOWIE's Joey Essex And Ricky Rayment Ticked Off By Cops Over TV Brawl

TOWIE's Ticking Off By Cops

TOWIE stars Joey Essex and Ricky Rayment got a telling off from cops after officers were alerted to their televised brawl.

The perma-tanned pair came to blows following a barney at the re-launch of co-star Lauren Goodger's shop on Sunday's episode.

After trading insults, new boy Ricky took a swipe at Joey's sister Frankie - prompting the duo to take their argument outside.

Viewers of the hit ITV2 show were shocked to see the usually mild-mannered Joey lash out at Ricky, who then snapped back before the programme came to an end.

The bust-up has landed them in hot water with the law and they were visited at home by police to be given a warning about their behaviour.

"The officer had viewed the footage and decided that was the best course of action."

No complaints were made to police over the altercation and no cautions were handed out.

A TOWIE spokesman adds: "'Both Joey and Ricky have been informally warned about their conduct following the incident but the matter has not been taken any further."

Fans saw the boys make it up on the series finale on Wednesday when they put their differences aside at Mario Falcone's birthday party.

The same couldn't be said for fellow fighting friends Lauren Goodger and Jessica Wright, who were embroiled in a massive face-off over their vicious cat fight last week.
