Elle Macpherson was spotted doing what she does best - flaunting her fabulous figure - at a red carpet event for the Fashion Star TV show in New York last night.

She rocked a super short, fringed LBD, a waist-cinching snakeskin belt and her trademark, long glossy locks. All fine so far, but aside from that statement gold cuff on her wrist, we can't help but get distracted by thoseshoes.
Our first question is, is that red masking tape strapped around her ankles? And secondly, why the anklet when you're wearing shoes like that? Lastly, just in case you were thinking about trying a pair, if they can make Elle Macpherson look like she has short legs, then they're definitely bad news for the rest of us.
