The same day as announcing she's become a mum for the first time, Katie Holmes at The Hollywood Reporter's luncheon honouring the 25 Most Powerful Fashion Stylists.
Yesterday, the single actress - who split from long-term partner Stuart Townsend last year after nine years together - released a statement confirming that she'd adopted a baby boy named Jackson.
"Charlize Theron has adopted a child," read her spokesperson. "She is the proud mom of a healthy baby boy named Jackson."

The 36-year-old slipped on a pleated LBD for the event, posing for pictures with friend Katie Holmes (in a matching Little Black Dress.)
