Gwyneth Paltrow chats to her late father's wedding ring - because she believes it contains his spirit.
The eccentric star's dad Bruce passed away in 2002 when he lost his battle with throat cancer but Gwyneth believes she is still in touch with him.
According to The Sun, she said: "I always hold on to his wedding ring. I ask it questions, I feel like it keeps me safe. I really sense the energy of his soul, I don't think that evaporates... I feel my dad, I still feel his love, I still speak to him and I still love him."
She added: "Half the reason my life is good and has real, true value is that he died. I'd obviously rather have him alive, but he gave me so much in his death."
The actress has previously blamed her father's smoking habit for his illness and had encouraged him to lead a healthier lifestyle.
Gwyneth follows a strict exercise regime and diet and only eats food that matches her blood type.
On the importance of looking after herself, the Hollywood star recently told Self magazine: "Taking care of yourself is being there for your kids, like how on a plane, they tell you to put on your oxygen mask first."
