Tiger Woods' Porn Prank And Ian Poulter Rant Detailed In New Book

Woods On Porn And Poulter

Tiger Woods' ex coach Hank Haney's autobiography will reveal tales of the former world number one golfer watching pornography and slating Britain's Ian Poulter.

"The Big Miss" includes an anecdote of Woods becoming irritated by Poulter after a practise session ahead of the 2007 US Upen at Oakmont.

"How are we getting home?" asked Poulter of his Florida neighbour, aware Woods had a private jet on standby.

Woods didn't extend an invitation but Poulter, renowned for his brashness on and off the greens, appeared and got a ride home.

Haney said Woods texted him on the plane: "Can you believe how this dick mooched a ride on my plane home?"

When quizzed on the exchange detailed in a golf book which could include ambiguity about "swinging", Poulter was keen not to comment.

"The book has nothing to do with me and I have no interest in commenting on it," he told The Daily Mail.

Reflecting on the porno tale, Haney reveals how Woods purchased the adult channel package at the K Club in 2006, a month prior to the Ryder Cup.

Woods bought it as a joke to watch alongside devout Christian and 2007 Masters winner Zach Johnson, who was taken aback when he entered his team-mate's suite.

Woods told Haney afterwards: "It was funny watching him acting like everything was normal. I got him pretty good."

Haney signed up as Woods' coach in 2003, and aided him to a haul of six of his 14 major championships and 37 of his 71 PGA Tour titles with Haney. He played a pivotal role in Woods' technique, as he changed his swing from an upright to a flatter golf model.

In May 2010 Haney informed Woods he would be quitting as his coach, six months after it emerged the golf superstar had conducted a fling of extramarital affairs. The 56-year-old stressed: "Just so there is no confusion, I would like to make it clear that this was my decision. Tiger Woods and I will always be friends."

That friendship seems to have ended however.
