Samantha Cameron stepped out for their first official outing as a First Lady pairing yesterday - attending a mini-Olympics event staged at Washington DC's America University.
And both ladies - renowned for their following of fashion - upped the ante in the style stakes, in complimenting block-colour brights.

While SamCam flew the flag for British design talent (but of course) in a fuchsia L'Wren Scott chartreuse cardigan and cream wide-leg trousers.

Both ladies will also be present at the White House black tie state dinner tonight, which will no doubt call for a display of Britain and America's finest eveningwear.
