Nathan McDonald has appeared in court today in connection with an armed robbery at the luxury home of a South Staffordshire businessman.
The 21-year-old appeared at Telford Magistrates' Court this morning charged with robbery and possession of an imitation firearm.
He was arrested on Thursday night in the Penn Fields area of Wolverhampton and charged in connection with the armed robbery at the home of Richard Barnfather, 48.
Jewellery and cash worth more than £50,000 was taken by robbers in the raid, which took place on the night of March 9.
The haul included a single diamond solitaire ring, valued at more than £25,000, which belonged to Mr Barnfather's 37-year-old partner Deborah Leadbetter.
The raiders also made off with three luxury cars from the driveway - an Aston Martin, Range Rover and a Mercedes, estimated to be worth around £300,000 in total. The vehicles were later found abandoned.
The 21-year-old was remanded into custody and will next appear at Shrewsbury Crown Court on April 16.
