The Toon Army romped to a fifth successive league win on Easter Monday, and their opening goal was something right out of Looney Tunes.
Mercurial Frenchman Hatem Ben Arfa dashed 70 yards and through a porous Bolton defence to open the scoring in the 73rd minute with a wonderful solo goal, setting Newcastle up for a 2-0 home win.
It isn't even the first time the ex-Marseille star has gone on a mazy run and finished with aplomb in black and white, but due to the lack of coverage for his goal against Blackburn in January (blame ITV), he has been afforded greater acclaim on this occasion.
So in tribute to the 23-year-old, here are some other great solo efforts...
Jimmy Greaves v Manchester United, 1965 Division One
Thought Greavesie was just a poacher? Think again.
Diego Maradona v England, 1986 World Cup
The greatest goal ever from the greatest player ever?
Dalian Atkinson v Wimbledon, 1992/93 Premiership
Scored in the first season of the Premiership, this is one of the brand's earliest advertisements.
George Weah v Verona, 1995 Serie A
The definitive box-to-box goal.
Ronaldo v Compostela, 1996/97 Primera Liga
Prodigious.
Ryan Giggs v Arsenal, 1999 FA Cup
It's a wonderful run from Giggs...
Thierry Henry v Liverpool, 2003/04 Premier League
With a helping hand from Jamie Carragher.
David Nugent v Crystal Palace, 2007 FA Cup
When Nugent was a nuggett.
Lionel Messi v Getafe, 2006/07 Primera Liga
Maradona's heir.
Hatem Ben Arfa v Blackburn, 2012 FA Cup
This one is arguably better.
